Testimonials

Nathan T: I worked with Michele as my personal trainer from January-April of 2024.  I hadn't been to the gym since 2019 at this point I was 278 pounds struggling to tie my shoes, and out of breath climbing a flight of steps. We met 3 days a week. She shared tips on diet and nutrition, and I worked on that and additional cardio training in addition to the 3 days with Michele.

By end of 3 months I was using some of the max weights on some equipment.

Michele focused on well balanced circuit like workouts, which is my favorite. It made every workout unique and fresh. I was at 240 when I had to cease personal training. She helped me increased my functional mobility, flexibility, core strength, while shedding pounds, adding strength, and becoming more aware of my body.

She is a true professional and will work with you to design workouts to your style and to accomplish your personal goals. I look forward to bouncing back with her as soon as I am through health issues. Don't miss out on the opportunity to work with someone who loves what they do and the fit and free lifestyle.Highly recommended. I could not say enough.

Deb S. (age 59): I’ve been with Michele for a couple of months and she’s one of the best mobility and strength combo instructors I’ve had the pleasure of knowing.  As a female near 60, science is saying Mobility and Strength training are one of the most important physical activities a woman can do to maintain her health.  Michele is intuitive, understanding and dedicated to helping me reach my goals.  She bases each session on how you feel and what might need a little more focus on a particular day.   On a scale of 1 to 5, I give her an 11!!!

Rick S: Michele McFarland is a great personal trainer and fitness coach – for a lot of reasons!

  • Always very present, providing encouraging feedback and corrections so I can make steady progress

  • Understands what I want to do – but pushes me just a bit harder with workout routines that are personalized weekly

  • Conveys the sense that she believes in my abilities and is excited with me for the work I am doing

  • Understands that relationship is everything – she is fun, upbeat, laughs a lot – and gets that friendship is so important in keeping people motivated

  • Is incredibly patient – if your intent is to show up and work hard, she is right there with you

  • From a more technical perspective: she clearly has been doing her own work for a long time, knows her stuff and is great at teaching specific skills to build fitness while being safe.

If you’re looking for a coach, I very strongly recommend Michele.  She will champion you and will make you want to keep doing the hard things that are good for you!

Rose C: I have worked with Michele for nearly 2 years and give her an unqualified endorsement as a personal trainer. First , she takes the time to get to know you, your fitness goals, and your body. And when something changes, as inevitably it will, she attends to the changes. This occurred for me about a year ago when I broke a small bone in my ankle. She modified my workout so that I could continue with my training while needing to wear a large boot to stabilize my ankle. Secondly, she is extremely knowledgeable about movement and body physiology, therefore can provide information about movement questions and the impact of certain exercises. And lastly, she is fun and totally nonjudgmental. She accepts you for where you are in your life's fitness journey and where you are on that day.

Michele is a wonderful and inspiring partner for fitness work and I am pleased and in much better shape because of her!
